The
National Action Plan for Agenda 21 is directed, inter alia, toward
changing consumption and production patterns. Specific issues
that are addressed include the following:
Disseminating and promoting cleaner production methods for the
production process
Reducing wastes and promoting recycling in the production process
Establishment of environmentally-friendly production and consumption
mechanism
Promoting the use of clean fuel and mitigating sulfate content
of fuel
Promoting the use of recyclable energy
Using environmentally friendly technologies for sustainable production
Extension of clean energy using, Mitigating sulfur content of
fuel
Mitigating wasteful consumption patterns, promoting awareness
of sustainable consumption
